What a difference three years makes...when the original movie was released, the marquee names were teen tv titans, Alexis Bledel of "The Gilmore Girls", and "Joan of Arcadia's" Amber Tamblyn. With the sequel, their co-stars are now the prime time darlings, Blake Lively ("Gossip Girl") and America Ferrera ("Ugly Betty").
The follow-up flick reunites us with the girls in the midst of college life as they try to maintain their strong bonds of sisterhood. Will distance and growing up get in the way of their friendship? I doubt it, but regardless I still want to witness their individual journeys. Plus, there are scenes in Greece again too ~ nothing better than girlie angst in Europe with some Mediteranean male eye candy beautifying the already stellar Greek scenery!
This year has been a great one for female-led movies...most notably with "Sex and the City" and now "Sisterhood 2." Hopefully, women will support this movie just as they did for Carrie, Samantha, et al.

I saw the first one, but not sure if I'll make it to this one. I'm not a fan of sequels generally. I am DESPERATE to get caught up on Gossip Girl though! I cannot believe I've not been watching this!
