Just when we're all in a whirl with Chuck & co., we're forced to take a break & travel through time down the garden path with a teen Lily. Talk about taking the wind out of our sails. Bring back the current GG crew!
Seems that I'm not the only one thinking that a GG spin-off is a little off. Apparently, the spin-off has kicked the bucket even before the episode was broadcast. Should we even dare to watch? Is it *that* bad?

So frustrated with this show! Two weeks of bliss interrupted by horrible Valley Girl speak? Please. STOP THE MADNESS! I want more CHAIR!
Oh my... I'm not a usual GG watcher (my Monday night priorities lie with The Big Bang Theory and Dancing with the Stars), but I'll occasionally watch. The thought of a GG spinoff was not appealing to me, and having seen the commercial for this week's intro to the spinoff merely confirms that opinion. It does not look good. AT ALL.
I really hope that the show doesn't get picked up. It hurts me to say that because I dearly love Andrew McCarthy, and I also enjoy Brittany Snow. But this show just looks horrid from the trailers I've seen. It would break my heart if good shows like Privileged and The Game don't return and this festering turd of a spinoff goes ahead.
Fingers crossed that the rumblings about the GG spinoff being dead in the water are true!
It doesn't look good. It looks like GG is on its way to TV oblivion anyway and they pull this out. Bad writing and who wants to know about Lily van der Woodsen's teenage life?
