I'm surrounded by people who are just in a tizzy over the new comedy series, 'Glee.'
Some love the popular tunes given the 'Glee' club treatment, others can't get enough of the empowered nerd herd.
Me, I find it twee, the songs over-produced in a tear your hair out 'High School Musical' style, and the nerd thing... been there, done that. It has moments of hilarity but I just find the whole thing grating.

Haha, completely agree. Some cute scenes but the moment that computerized voice singing starts, I'm out of there :)
It ruins it for me. There is some clever writing going on but the singing and the 'oh, aren't we so nerdy' vibe bugs the crap out of me. NEXT!
I was intrigued with so much hype surrounding "Glee"...watched it for all of 60 seconds, I found it incredibly annoying in just that short amount of time.
Yay, Myrna! I'm *so* with you!
I tried to like it but found myself heckling the screen. I opted to find something better to do with my time.
The actress who plays the cheerleading coach is a hoot.
Jo, yeah the cheerleading coach is the best thing about the show but I can't sit through the overwhelming annoying everything else to enjoy her performance.
