Ho Ho Holiday season treats are coming at us fast and furious! The most welcome of indulgences...the queen of Christmas diet splurges has to be DQ's Reindeer Bites Blizzard.
Um, wait a second... Reindeer Bites? Kinda an odd name! I mean it's not Reindeer 'Bites' as in... bites = terrible... or (perish the thought) as in little pieces of reindeer. Ugh, that's just too ghoulish for contemplation. No, it's Reindeer Bites meaning delicious chunks of caramel, chocolate, coconut and cookie -- all good, all yummy!
No reindeers were harmed in the making of this seasonal Blizzard treat!
Once again, Dairy Queen serves up a delectable early Christmas present! When you're out and about playing Santa for your nearest and dearest, be sure to give yourself the gift of a quiet moment with your very own Reindeer Bites Blizzard.

The ingredients do sound quite yummy, but I agree the name doesn't really fit. You almost expect to see bits of antlers and fur sticking out of the ice cream--ewww! HA! :D
I wonder how many calories are in one of those things. The page that lists such things is interesting; not all blizzards are created equal when it comes to having a day's worth of calories, or just shy of a day's worth. I have a buy-one get-one-free coupon for signing up on their web site. Guess I'll just have to skip a couple meals to try it out :)
Rochelle, you're so right! They do pack a punch calorie-wise but they are yummy! They offer mini Blizzards now - about half the size of a small so you can still opt for a treat that isn't too calorie dense.
